Great news! Mortgage rates decreased slightly to 4.98% this past week which was down from 4.99% for the previous week. Even thought rates have climbed since their historic lows back in early December, they are still lower than they were a year ago. The combination of low interest rates and bargain home prices continue to make this a wonderful time to buy.
